Cornival

If you live around this area (doubtful) and you're interested (less likely), stop by the first annual (maybe) Fort Gibson Corn Festival and check out our booth. (you don't have to). Still not sure where the idea came from but it looks to be an interesting event. Plus, its a chance to get a little more exposure for JMP here in the FTG. I've been shooting professionally four just shy of 4 years now and most people in my hometown have no idea I exist. That's what you call a serious lack of marketing. Tomorrow will be a small step in changing that.

I'll have a small showcase of some of my favorite images as well as step two in my 2010 Senior Model Team program. Its a summer of firsts. For everyone who reads my blog (echo echo echo) the 2010 JMP Senior Model Team is this: I'm looking for energetic/charismatic high school seniors who are interested in getting their entire senior portrait package done for free (value up to $500) in return for helping promote Josh McDonell photography. Know anyone? Have them shoot me a line: josh@joshmcdonell.com

Twiligh Project: Finale

Months of trying to get everyone into the studio for a portrait shoot, a senior marketing campaign, some digital wizardry and the project is completed. The finished piece.

There may be a New Moon themed shoot in the near future. Stay tuned.

Twilight Project: Part-3

It took way to long to finish this project. Scheduling conflicts, last minute cancellations, job emergencies, laziness...etc. These are most of the individual shots. The next post will have the finished piece. Not sure why it took me so long to post them up. If you're a fan of my Josh McDonell Facebook page, you have already seen most of these.

Chris was my first choice as a stand in for "Jasper"; serious face, curly hair, and a black belt.

Casey originally played "Bella" in the first part of the project. However, given her personality and cute new haircut, she was the perfect choice for "Alice".

Robert got his haircut the day after we did his shoot (frustrating). Then again the longer style made his shots a little more unique. I did nothing to enhance his "Emmet" muscle structure

Sara is a sweet, gentle spirit; nothing like the character "Rosalie", yet she still managed to work the attitude.

Her hair having returned to a semblance of natural color (sort of) Jamie gracefully stepped into the role of "Bella" to round out the "cast".

Clint will be returning to his role of vampire. (not that he ever left)
